The most beautifully restored example of the Broadwood Grand piano, making it fabulous sort after instrument for Film, Drama, Period plays. ( Not for sale)
An original letter from John Broadwood & Sons Ltd, piano manufacturers of London provides us with the following detail:
Piano Number 22038 left the Broadwood Factory in 1885 . The Model is described as 14a in a rosewood casing . At the time, it would have sold for around 200 guineas.It is described as a Short Drawing room grand piano measuring just under 8′
We are proud that it is now in our ownership, whilst not hugely valuable in monetary terms, it has a huge value to English piano making and is an extremely rare find given its outstanding condition.

Diagonal Bracing, gun metal Harmonic Bar and under dampers.
In latter years it formed part of an important Private Collection The Colt Clavier period collection. We are proud that it is now in our ownership, whilst not hugely valuable in monetary terms, it has a huge value to English piano making and is an extremely rare find given its outstanding condition.
